Canvas Pontiac Arts Walk and Artist Market

Celebrating local artists with the Canvas Pontiac Arts Walk and open air Artist Market on Friday, June 11 from 5-10pm.  Local artists will have the opportunity to showcase and sell their art.

We are currently looking for artists to be part of the Artist Market, and sell their art!  Space is $20 that covers insurance and advertising.  Artists are responsible for bringing their own tables and/ or tents, and will be stationed within "The Circuit"; the Social District along Saginaw.

At that time we will announce the next Canvas Pontiac Art Contest.

Canvas Pontiac is an Art and Photography contest sponsored by the Detroit Institute of Arts to bring Art to Historic Downtown Pontiac.  Artists submit via the website their art, which is then juried by distinguished members of the South East Michigan art scene.

Selections will then be printed on 8'x10' canvasses that can be seen throughout the district.

What Canvas Pontiac Is All About

Canvas Pontiac is an Art and Photography contest sponsored by the Detroit Institute of Arts to bring Art to Historic Downtown Pontiac.  The 8'x10' canvasses can be seen throughout the district.  In 2020 we increased submissions to include 8 different countries, but many of the winners came from right here in and near Pontiac.
