TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Upon submission into Canvas Pontiac, the Artist grants Main Street Pontiac (a 501c3) the rights to promote and use art for promotional purposes as they see fit for sharing on social media, and the like. The Artist grants Main Street Pontiac the rights to incorporate the art submission in promotional materials for the program and Main Street Pontiac for a period of ten years (e.g., brochures about downtown Pontiac, Canvas Pontiac website, Canvas Pontiac pamphlets, fundraising campaigns, etc.).
Any Canvas Pontiac Artist Market submissions must be in by midnight MAY 28, 2021.
Requirements from Artists:
Artists will provide tables and tents as needed. Artists or assigned representative(s) must be present with artwork throughout the event time, unless other arrangements have been made. Artist must be responsible for art removal and clean area by or before 11:00pm, May 3rd, unless other arrangements are made with specific site owner/manager. HOLD HARMLESS: Organizers will take the greatest care of all artwork, but we cannot be responsible for theft or damage to artwork, equipment or funds generated by sales of artwork or donations. Unless otherwise arranged, please be sure to be on site for event set up and duration, or assign a trusted representative. We reserve the right to refuse any artwork deemed inappropriate or unacceptable for this family-friendly event
Authorship and Plagiarism:
All submitted art must be original artwork by the submitting artist. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Photographing/Videotaping of the Artists:
Artists submitting their work are releasing their artwork and their likeness for video and promotional use by Main Street Pontiac.
Main Street Pontiac is a nonprofit, volunteer organization. Canvas Pontiac is made possible through community
support and sponsorships (like this one). Please help Canvas Pontiac keep the ARTS in Pontiac.
